Legislation And Legal Requirements Home Improvements.

Hi, when it comes to the legal requirements when considering your next home improvement project, it is essential that you look in to your rights and any restrictions, (if any). To often this rather tedious task can be over looked and forgotten, resulting in nightmarish legal battles, from boundary issues with any neighbours, to simply not having been granted permission at the start. Here at PJB, we always, when meeting a prospective customer highlight the absolute need to have all permissions etc. in place from the start. We have a wealth of knowledge with regards to the 'do's and don'ts', we have the experience and will gladly try to answer your questions if possible. We always try to stay current with the law in relation to the building industry, 'Staying ahead of the Curve'. Naturally we are not legal experts, however, we will try to 'signpost' a customer to the experts. We have found a couple of very good website addresses for those interested, www.planningportal.gov.uk and www.legislation.gov.uk take a look. Please stay informed, its an absolute must!!!
